On Wednesday 16th October at 12:45am an explosion happened on the Violet
close estate in Newcastle's west end claiming the Lives of two members
of the local community 7 year old Archie York and 34 year old Jason Laws
as-well as leaving many families evacuated from their homes where they
have not yet been able to return.
We as a radio station are based at John Buddle Work Village who are
accepting donations to help support those affected by the Benwell
explosion.
Items can be dropped off Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
