NEWS - ANXIOUS MINDS

Anxious Minds were founded in 2015 stemming from the CEO’s personal experiences with anxiety and depression. This gives the organisation both a detailed understanding of the reality of mental health and a passionate desire to improve the situation.

Their passionate mission and commitment at Anxious Minds is to improve the mental well-being of the people they serve right here in the North East.

They work to a strong set of core values and principles that are upheld in everything they offer. Fundamentally Anxious Minds believe that individuals who suffer from Mental Health do not receive enough support. They started this charity in order to address this and provide better support.

Sufferers can often feel utterly isolated and lonely, believing that there is something wrong with them. This is not the case. Mixed anxiety and depression is the most common mental disorder in Britain. One of the aims of Anxious Minds is to connect individuals together, to take a positive step into a community of individuals who want to help.

Nova Radio North East are delighted to be partnering with Anxious Minds as both Anxious Minds and Nova Radio share many core values, and you can listen to a dedicated health and wellbeing channel on the Nova Radio App, on both iOS and Android.

Anxious Minds are situated inside the ‘Creative Wellbeing Centre’ at 31 Station Road, Wallsend, NE28 6RL, right next to the Metro Station.
